What happens when you put together a German fire engine, the Funky Bus and bikes? Bring your bike, get yourself over to Kasarmitori and prepare to be astounded. Take part in the Slow Bicycle Race performance to live music and check out the mobile art exhibition. FIREFIT, the fire engine driven to Helsinki from Germany by the artist Dida Zende will be touring Helsinki from August 17th on and serves as a mobile performance venue. The audience gets to follow the creation of new art works by young artists as the Funky Bus is transformed into a pop-up gallery. The Konst Parkings group which creates mobile stages for art will also pay a visit. Audience participation encouraged! If you wish to bring your own project in, please contact Olli Gunst, 040 5783 472.
